In case of fire, the silicate-based fire-protection panels expand under the action of heat with generation of foaming pressure. The non-combustible, heat-insulating and pressure-resistant foam prevents fire and smoke from spreading to other rooms for a given period of time by filling joints and gaps. These grilles are suitable for use in fire doors, partition walls, equipment rooms, and ventilation systems where both airflow and fire compartmentation are required.
