DAKEN Silicate-Based Fire Protection panels

DAKEN Silicate-Based Fire Protection panels  are classified as non-combustible building material. When exposed to temperatures above 100°C, DAKEN Silicate-Based Fire Protection Panels undergo controlled expansion and generate expansion pressure, forming a fine-pore, pressure-resistant, non-combustible and heat-insulating protective foam Which fills joins and gaps ,helping to prevent the passage of flames, hot gases and smoke and limiting heat transfer for the specified period of fire resistance.During this process, heat is reduced by evaporating water, thus producing an additional cooling effect.

The panels combine high expansion performance, compact thickness and reliable fire-sealing capability, making them suitable for a wide range of passive fire protection applications, including fire-rated doors, bulkheads, penetration seals, security cabinets and industrial fire protection enclosures.

Key Features

  • Low response temperature and short reaction time;
  • Smokeless, non-toxic, no harmful gas emissions, and asbestos-free;
  • Emits water vapor and creates a heat-absorbing effect;
  • High level of fire resistance combined with smoke, sound and/or thermal protection protection;
  • Surface-treated for durable performance in outdoor or high-humidity conditions;
  • Easy to cut and punch within the temperature range of 20℃–40℃;
  • Minimal component thickness, i.e. low costs of construction and manufacturing combined with greater aesthetic design possibilities;

Highlights

  • Up to 8× expansion — forms a pressure-resistant, heat-insulating foam layer that fills and seals joints, gaps and openings.
  • High expansion pressure — begins expanding at approximately 100°C and develops expansion pressure of up to 1.50 N/mm² at 120°C.
  • Additional cooling effect — water evaporation during expansion helps absorb heat and reduce heat transfer.
  • Reliable fire protection — designed to provide fire and smoke protection for up to 120 minutes, subject to the tested system configuration.

Application

  • Fire Doors

The panels can be fabricated into strips, sections or customized components and installed within or around the protected assembly. When exposed to elevated temperatures, the material rapidly expands and generates pressure, filling and sealing the surrounding gaps and joints to help prevent the passage of flames, hot gases and smoke.

Fire Door
  • Bulkheads

DAKEN Silicate-Based Fire Protection Panels provide rapid and reliable fire sealing by expanding under heat and forming a pressure-resistant, non-combustible silicate foam. The expanding material fills and seals joints, gaps and openings, helping to prevent the passage of flames, hot gases and smoke.

Ventilation Bulkheads
  • Safety cabinets

DAKEN Silicate-Based Intumescent Fire Protection Panels are designed to enhance the fire resistance of safes, security cabinets and fire-resistant storage enclosures. Under high temperatures, the panels expand and generate pressure, forming a non-combustible insulating foam that fills and seals gaps and joints to help contain flames, heat and smoke.

PVC Extruded Seals(DP100P)

Daken Intumescent Fire Smoke And Acoustic Seals Dfss

DAKEN DP100P is a high-performance fire seal incorporating silicate-based fire-protection panels in a purpose-designed PVC sleeve- and is primarily intended for installation in fire doors, panelled doors and frame-to-wall gaps.
Under fire conditions, Hydrated sodium silicate intumescent to activate at 100–120°C, expanding to over five times its original thickness to form a non-combustible insulating barrier.

PVC Extruded Seals(DP100PSS)

Pvc Extruded Seals

These intumescent fire and smoke seals provide reliable protection by
expanding under heat to seal door gaps during a fire, while selected variants offer continuous cold smoke control through integrated brush or flexible fin
seals.

Fire Resistant Panelled Doors(DBPD-SW)

Fire Resistant Panelled Doors

DAKEN DBPD-SW is a ready-made laminated board specifically designed for fire resistant doors.Made of the silicate-based fire-protection panels and high-density fiberboards. The different combination and sequence of the individual layers create a torsion-resistant, flame retardant panel specially developed for the manufacture of fire doors and for use in fire walls.
